BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!! The Two Fat Polocks are proud to announce that we are now the Northeast distributor for Spicewine Cookers and products. We will be stocking cookers, accessories, rubs and sauces. We have been so impressed with Spicewine products, that this was an easy segue for us. We have used Spicewine cookers, rubs and sauces in competition with great success and know that there is no better quality. We will be available to demo the cooker at competitions.

The Polocks have been EGGed!

Yes, we have been EGGed. We purchased a XL Big Green Egg in March. It is quite the grill. For those who don't know, it is a ceramic cooker. It can grill, smoke, bake and really do anything you can do on your kitchen stove and oven. It makes the best brick oven style pizza. We have been putting it thru it's paces and we are very impressed. It's no light-weight at 205 lbs., but, it will be joining us on our competition weekends for grilling events and competition dinners.
The Polocks have a new Spicewine Cooker
April 18th, 2008 The Polocks are at it again. We purchased a new Custom Spicewine Competition Cooker. It arrived in November 2007. We have outfitted the cooker with a hi-tech Stoker temperature controller. We, or should I say Cole has written software for the Stoker. He has made it able to connect to the web and can tell us just about anything we want to know about our pit and meat temperature. And yes, it will even send us a text message.  Soon, we will be offering this software for sale. We love our Spicewine cookers so much, that all I can say is, stay tuned for a BIG announcement.

We are proud to announce that the Polocks have added a new team member, Gus Metaxas. Gus is a longtime friend of Guy's. He brings a wealth of culinary experience, a wonderful palate and a great love of BBQ. Gus also does private catering. Gus joined us in October '07 for the Sayville Battle of the BBQ Brethren. He was bitten with the competition bug and will be on the BBQ trail with us all summer. So please stop by and say Hi to Gus and always feel free to ask questions or just talk about BBQ.
